I Can’t Write a Poem

Forget it
You must be kidding
I can’t write a poem
I have no thought
It’s to hard
You can’t give me a test
My hands hurt
I don’t even know whats going on
I’m half asleep
Can’t you see im done
Time’s up? Uh oh!
All I have is a dumb list of excuses.
You like it? Really? No kidding.
Thanks a lot. Would you like to see another one?

Stars like Comets

Stars like Comets

As I gaze in the night sky

I see a white luster of stars

That stand bright, as if a comet

Just stood there to stare over me

I get encouraged by the way they glow

Like a full moon.

I will never give up hope

By looking at a single one.

They strengthen my heart like a bright comet

It’s like pure sweetness when I

Think of someone I care about in

My memories

They make people smile with no sorrow

Just by gazing at one star in the night sky

It’s like a guardian there to watch over me

When there is no one their

The Hearing of Life

My favorite sense is hearing if I could not hear I would not know what to do. This makes my life better because it’s easy to understand what people say. If I was deaf I wouldn’t understand anything. Like if my parents said something I would not know what they want. You even couldn’t hear the television, or game system, also you wouldn’t hear a siren if a tornado was coming.

There is a list of things you couldn’t hear and there would be so many things to worry about. I think it would horrible to become deaf this is why it’s an important sense to me.

How People Want to be Treated

In the 1950’s people were treated wrong or unfairly because they were a different color. Probably if they worked together they would have a better life. I would have helped people no matter what even if they were a different color.

Like Martin Luther King Jr. he didn’t want people to be treated the way they were in the 1950’s. He wanted them to have more freedom and rights. I would have been the same way they didn’t deserve what happened, even if they were a different color.

We could give money to the homeless so they can buy food or clothes. They would be so thankful if that happened to them even I would have done the same thing for them. You could change their lives if that happened they would probably be more kind to people.

Like Rosa Parks she didn’t want to be treated that way tat she was being treated. She wanted freedom and for people to care for each other the same way.

The Start and The End

It all started when Hitler was a dictator he started off with him making a army.He thought he could do anything he wanted even take over the world.Soon he built concentration camps in Germany and other places. As soon as possible he ordered the soldiersto find Jews and bring them to him.He would see what they were good at and if he didn’t like what things they could do he would kill them.Every day there were about 9,000 Jews killed in camps. So Hitler made more inventions that held more people at once. There was to much people that died thathe started digging huge holes in the ground.

Then he made labor camps that made people work for him he would keep the strong young men to work for him.Later resistance would try to free Jews and anybody else in the camps. They would take them to safe places and keep them wealthy. When Pearl Harbor ended the Americans and allies teamed up to take Hitler down.First they killed Germans in their way then freed people from concentration camps.Hitler committed suicide in a bunker and was never seen again. After World War II ended Jews would never forget that day and peace was restored.

The Day I Broke my Wrist

One afternoon me and my family were outside my dad was cutting down one tree with his helpers. After they got done I walked on the tree they cut down. Soon I slipped and fell off I was lying on the ground crying. My mom ran to pick me up she said “What is wrong” I said “my wrist was hurting real bad!” I had to wait until the next day to go to the doctor. The next morning I woke up my mom took me to the doctor. He said “Your wrist is broken.” So I had to get a cast on my arm. After a few weeks it was time to take my cast off. I was so happy to get it off, when we returned to the car my mom was happy that I was ok.

My dad was glad to see that I was ok to; when we got home I wanted to practice baseball. As soon as we got home I practiced. This was a good memory for me I never would forget that day.

This Labor Day

This Labor Day we when to my cousin’s house. The reason we were going was because they are covering their swimming pool for the summer. Also this was my last day to swim of this year. When we got there I ran straight to the pool. My cousin was already waiting for me. So she was right behind me, when I jumped in the water was not warm it was cold but after awhile it got warm.

When I was done for about ten minutes I ate a hot dog on a bun and went back in the pool. I did a front flip into the pool and it stung but I was ok. Then when everybody got in the pool we played volley ball with a beach ball. It was fun for about thirty minutes until we had to go so I guess that was my day!
